about Charlene Geiss
Charlene Geiss informs her coaching style with an extensive background in Education, Psychology, and the Arts. As a coach and teacher, she works to impart knowledge and to share tools of empowerment, techniques for self-discovery, and skills that keep your goals on track.
As founder of the Diarists' Workshop: A School for Personal Growth and Creative Journaling, Charlene developed methods to help clients resolve issues, make decisions, and live a creative life. Her experiences with students and development of innovative techniques culminated in the book, Inner Outings. Building on her graduate degree in education, Charlene entered a Ph.D. program in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she immersed herself in the teachings of Carl Jung. A devoted student of the human psyche, Charlene is most content as a guide and coach helping others on their journey to an authentic and meaningful life.
Always exploring her own creative calling, Charlene continues her work as a visual artist. The most recent exhibits of her collages, mixed-media book art, and photography have been on display in Colorado at the Durango Art Center and Open Shutter Gallery.
In addition to her private practice, Charlene teaches workshops and retreats on the Inner Outings Method, Befriending the Inner Critic, and The Fertile Void. She is the featured artist in the DVD, Creative Journaling with Charlene Geiss; and Signatures: The Art Journal Collection. Inner Outings, having sold nearly 10,000 copies remains a best seller.
Charlene’s present "to do list" includes the sequel, Inner Outings for the Creative Soul, and a workbook, Befriending the Inner Critic. In November, 2017 she will return to India with Visionary Coach, Amber Chand, and a group of women on "Exotic Marigold India: A Soulful Journey for Women." In the reflective moments of this journey, Charlene will be leading writing sessions to capture the soulful and creative stirrings that naturally arise from this magical culture.
